However, you have made chemistry much more easily understandable with your concise notes and problem solving methods. The method which you have encouraged us to use when it comes to tackling structural elucidation question has definitely helped me during my exams as it is neat and logical. Before i joined learners lodge, i have been consistently getting Us in J1 and honestly hated studying econs. I decided to join learners lodge in J2 as it has been recommended by my batch mates as well as seniors that have aced their econs in their A levels. I chose to attend a class that Mr Fung was teaching as i have seen many student testimonials like this on the learners lodge website, and of course it proved to be true.
My first impression of Mr Fung was that he was very affable and was able to banter very well with the class making the lesson interesting. Not only that, he will also give us specific comments on how to improve our econs essays every week when we submit it. As A levels approached, i would bombard Mr Fung with many questions be it through Whatsapp or in-person consults and he would always answer promptly. He would also encourage us during the lessons when we are doing revision and also took the effort to check in with us to see if we are being overwhelmed by the stress and if we need extra help.
All in all, Mr Fung is caring, zestful and most importantly very effective at teaching. I am very thankful for having Mr Fung as my tutor and helping me improve from initially being a consistent U-grade student before i joined his class, to someone who scored A in his A-levels.

Mr Koh never once made us feel like we were asking stupid questions but encouraged us to ask more and clarify any sliver of doubt we had. As playful as we were mr koh found a balance between keeping the lesson going and letting us have our fun! I guess that made it easier to see the fun in econs and push ourselves towards the finish line (with mr koh’s help of course answering questions and marking essays)

Mr Koh’s lessons were delightful. His friendly demeanor made it easy to look forward to his lessons, which were filled with light-hearted jokes and anecdotes. This was a perfect balance to how rigorous his lessons were at the same time.
Every lesson was fruitful, and I reaped something out of it, be it gaining clarity on a foreign concept, or picking up useful examination skills.
One thing I really appreciate and admire Mr Koh for, is how he has the answers to everything. With great mastery of the subject, Mr Koh always gives us a satisfied reply to any queries we might have, making sure that everyone’s questions are attended to. Sometimes, our inquisitive class might shoot him with multiple questions at once, but he always patiently responds to all of them, or will gently tell us that he will come back to the question later.
Lastly, the effort that Mr Koh puts in to help his students is truly commendable. A teacher who puts aside his breaks to have consultations with his student must be one who genuinely cares about his student’s progress. Mr Koh’s dedication and fine work ethics can also be seen from how his worksheets were all meticulously prepared, with model answers written with great details. Moreover, the little reminder messages that he types for our class before every test were so reassuring and encouraging, which really shows that he is a teacher not only with the mind, but also with the heart.
