To Mr Damian Chee,
Your lessons were very engaging and truly helped me in my journey with math. When I joined, I was a failing student who consistently did badly and was very discouraged. However, in your lessons, you went back to the basics and comprehensively explained all the basic concepts in an engaging and unconventional way, and I managed to internalize all your advice very well! Your teaching paid off as I got A for math in my A levels, thank you, Mr Chee!!
Megan Ng , Private Candidate
Thank you for going the extra mile when I needed time off curriculum to clarify my doubts especially when private candidates have no access to help from the school and you are always so patient in answering my queries. Your lesson has been immensely helpful in reinforcing vital concepts and problem-solving techniques. I attribute my success in attaining an A grade for Physics to you, couldn’t have done it without your help. Thank You, Mr Raymond Cai for your guidance and dedication – my gratitude is beyond words.

Dear Mr Damian Chee,
Thank you for helping us improve the way we approach different types of questions and giving us corrective feedback based on our school papers.
The dedication you have for the class is definitely seen in how you aim to make class interactive and interesting, especially through the integration of the Angry Birds game with mathematics questions.
Thank you so much and we couldn’t have done it without your guidance.

I was initially struggling with chemistry in JC as it was difficult for me to grasp the concepts and the answering techniques due to my weak chemistry foundation. However, after participating in Mr David Wong’s lessons, I found it easier to understand difficult concepts and answer questions I used to be unable to answer. Mr Wong has really put in a lot of effort into creating handwritten notes for his students which further allowed us to understand the question requirements or the concepts which we couldn’t grasp. Under his guidance, I was able to be pulled from U’s and S’s in school to achieve an A for H2 Chemistry in the ‘A’ Level Examinations in 2017.

I first met Ms Ruby Ng when I signed up for her J2 Math Tuition. At that time, I was not confident in my math at all. I had never passed Math before in school exams. Seeing how brilliant my classmates were, I was even more pressurised. However, Ms Ng had faith in me that I could do well, and it was her motivation that drove me on. Ms Ng is the most inspirational tutor anyone can ask for. She explained every math question in great details, which enabled even borderline-pass students like me to fully grasp the concept. Despite being detailed in her explanations, her lesson was still very efficient and she could manage to go through all the questions we attempted in every single session. She was good at balancing between her smart and average students. She gave the fast learners more chances to practice their mathematical skills while she attended to the slow learners. Most importantly, she clarified my doubts and rekindled my interest which was almost diminished in learning Mathematics as a subject.
Ms Ng is dedicated to teaching and nurturing her students. I will never forget how she would sacrifice her precious lunchtime and go back-to-back from Jurong East to Kembangan, just to be on time to start our lesson. Ms Ng is willing to reach out to her students and befriend with them, which I find rare among tutors. After class, I saw her as a dear friend whom I could talk to about practically anything, from pop cultures to real-life issues. She enjoys spending time and she takes care of her students’ well-being outside merely studies and giving her valuable opinions when necessary. She also has a great eye for seeing the strengths and potentials quickly in a student, thus helping him or her develop them.
I have never regretted a single time for signing on this journey with Ms Ruby Ng. I learned a lot from her and will have more to learn in the days to come.

Thank you, Mr Phay for teaching me to love economics! Initially, I struggled to understand even the simplest concepts. After attending your lessons, I found the subject to be really fun, and it made sense to me :) During the A-level period, you were always there to answer my questions and motivate me. The notes I took down from your lessons were my saviour during revision and with them, I achieved a grade that I never expected myself to attain. Thank you for your dedication! :)

Dear Mr Mike, thank you very much for helping me with my H2 Chemistry for the past 2 years, guiding me throughout this period. It has definitely been a pleasure to be in your class, seeing how you transform challenging concepts into simpler ones. I’m very grateful to be able to be in your class. Hope that you will be able to continue inspiring your students with your vast knowledge and burning passion for this subject.

Dear Mr Au, thank you for being a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher! You made Chemistry concepts seem easier, and the tactics you taught us for structural elucidation were extremely helpful! Your anecdotes during class were also very enjoyable! :) Thank you so much for enabling me to score straight As for school exams, and ultimately for A-levels!

Dear Mr Daniel Yeo, thank you for your guidance for the past two years! You made the harder topics of Physics seem simpler, and taught us all the essential concepts we needed! The weekly practices leading up to the A-levels were extremely helpful, especially the planning exercises! Thank you so much for helping me get straight As for school exams, and also A-levels! :)

When I first joined Ms Ruby Ng‘s class in December of 2015, I was extremely worried about my Math grades, as I was a consistent U-grade student. Under Ms Ng’s guidance, however, I managed to turn things around in my second year in JC1 and I managed to get an A for my promos (and subsequently ‘A’ Levels). Ms Ng presents difficult mathematics concepts in a very simple and easy to grasp way, and it really helped me a lot as I transitioned from merely memorising math formulae to actually understanding and being able to formulate them during my exams. Her supplementary questions and notes were also extremely helpful, as I found that many of the questions I encountered in school had already been covered by her. Thank you, Ms Ng for your passion in helping your students, and thanks for the motivation you’ve given to me over the past 2 years!
