Helpful and willing to attend to queries outside of class. Even if you’re failing in school, the support and personalised feedback will definitely give you a better grasp of the subject. You will likely benefit more than the typical school lessons.

My journey with Mr Lee in the Learners lodge was a brief but wholesome one. After scoring c/d/e grades for almost all of the economic papers, I was dejected and lacked confidence in the subject. Furthermore with less than 5 months left to A levels, I doubted if I could make any improvements. Mr Lee however had more trust in his students than I have in myself, his professionalism and his unique kind of humour made daunting concepts easy to understand and lessons carefree. Furthermore, he goes out of his ways to painstakingly mark student essays, a dedication that even school teachers don’t demonstrate at times which helped me to realise my weakness in topics and brush up on them. Under the help of Mr Lee, I approached my A levels with confidence and eventually achieved an A for economics, a grade that I didnt even dare to dream about. I don’t know how Mr Lee did it but I am grateful for the trust he had in his students.While grades are a testament to a teacher’s teaching abilities, there is so much more that Kai Academy and Mr Lee himself has to offer. I was enlightened beyond academics and I hope as a prospective student, you can be too!

I have always struggled with question interpretation and evaluation in econs. However, under Mr Lee’s tutelage, I finally understood what the markers look for in my answers & the different ways to evaluate. In the end, I managed to get an A for econs.
Mr Lee also went beyond the syllabus by linking concepts to real life. He guided us in interpreting statistics on global economic performance and in making sense of policies used in different economies. This has broadened my understanding of how and why policies are implemented and how the world economy functions.
His lessons also never fail to be enjoyable. His humorous yet engaging personality made learning econs approachable and less intimidating. He creates a classroom where insightful questions are welcomed and mistakes become part of the learning process. Mr Lee is truly a rare educator who combines clarity, relevance, and genuine care for his students’ growth.
