JC 1 TOPICAL REVISION WORKSHOPS
Learners’ Lodge is proud to offer a series of Topical Revision Workshops from November to December targeted at JC1 topics. Through these workshops, we aim to help students strengthen their foundation on and mastery of JC1 topics across various subjects. Due to the popular demand for Topical Revision topics and first-come-first-serve basis, students are advised to sign up early before the seats are all taken up!
Who should attend?
Our Topical Revision Workshops is designed mainly for students who:
- are progressing to JC2 will be learning the new content material and will not revisit the JC1 topics until the end of JC2, so these workshops can help them boost their foundation on some of the topics and maintain content familiarity and currency.
- have underperformed in their promotional examinations may be required by their schools to take a retest to progress to JC2 or to keep 4 H2 subjects.
- These workshops can assist these students to prepare for these retests.
Do i have to attend all the workshops?
Students can choose which topics they want to revisit and revise.
For example, a student may choose to attend three workshops in Economics, two in Mathematics and only one workshop in Chemistry.
(This buffet approach allows students to pick the specific topics they need most and hence allow students to choose a workshop that best fit their needs.)
*Students must attend a series of related topical revision workshops. E.g. Maths’ Vectors 1 and 2.
Who conducts these workshops?
All workshops are carried out by highly experienced and qualified ex-JC teachers who have many years of experience and a proven track record in tutoring thousands of JC students to ace both JC1 promotional examinations as well as the ‘A’ level examination.
Where will the workshops be conducted?
Students are encouraged to attend our on-site classes at Learners’ Lodge Bishan.

Attending the Topical Revision Workshop was a game-changer for me as I gear up for the final year of junior college. Covering only the crucial topics in subjects like Math, Physics, Economics, etc, this workshop was like a condensed guide to key topics, helping me revisit and reinforce what I've learned so far. The focused approach allowed me to target specific areas of concern, providing clarity and confidence as I approach JC 2. The interactive sessions not only clarified complex concepts but also equipped me with practical tips and strategies for tackling the upcoming challenges. It's more than just a revision; it's a strategic boost that I believe will significantly impact my performance in the crucial year ahead. This workshop has set the tone for a more confident and prepared journey into JC 2, and I'm genuinely grateful for the valuable insights it provided.
I was struggling with quite a number of topics in JC 1 such as Organic Chem and Vectors, this workshop really helped me a lot. It's not just going over stuff—it's like a rescue mission. I was able to focus on only those topics that I need help on, and with the teachers breaking them down for me, I finally got a deeper understanding for them. This workshop is more than revision; it's boosting my confidence and making JC 2 look way less scary. I'm leaving with a clearer head and feeling ready for what's coming.
After tanking my promo exam really got me thinking about switching to H1 Econs instead, but I decided to give it another go and took up this Topical Revision Workshop. It's not just about going over stuff; it's boosted my confidence big time. Focusing on only the topics I am weak in really help big time. The teachers explain things so well that now I'm feeling ready to rock JC 2. I feel it's not just about revision; it's like my comeback story, and I'm leaving with a smile, knowing I can handle what's coming my way.
