I came into Mr Yeo’s physics classes with an interest in physics but poor grades (U/S) as I was unable to digest information very well. Mr Yeo’s lessons have provided me with the tools and practice needed to improve in physics! Furthermore, Mr Yeo is a very kind and supporting mentor whose motivation and enthusiasm for the subject encourages me to do my best in practicing the subject and I found a love for physics in his lessons. His lessons are well paced and learning objectives clear for us each lesson, which makes the learning experience very enjoyable and efficient. Looking back at these summaries were very helpful during my revision as well.
While I may not have gotten an A for the A levels, the improvement from an U to a C is thanks to Mr Yeo’s encouragement, and I would not have made it this far without his support. Thank you Mr Daniel Yeo!

Mr Daniel Yeo is a patient teacher who would ensure that we understood every concept that he taught. He would answer any doubts that we had and encourage us before the exams. I really like how he would time us when we do questions in class as it paces us, allowing us to better allocate our time during exams. He is a caring teacher and I am thankful for his guidance.

A huge shout out to Mr Daniel Yeo for his constant guidance in tuition! Even though I joined his physics lessons a few months before A level, his targeted revision plan and condensed notes have helped me tremendously in my studies. With the help of him, I was equipped with the necessary answering techniques and skills which enabled me to perform well in physics. Once again, thank you Mr Yeo!

During my time with Mr Daniel Yeo, I learnt a lot compared to what I learn in school despite the short span of time I was in his class. Although I found that his teaching style was a bit fast-paced, I learnt a lot from his lessons, proving that it was very efficient and beneficial in the long run as I did not understand everything the first time but could get it the second time immediately. Hence I really like his teaching style and would recommend it if one finds it difficult to learn in school.
Thank you Mr Yeo!

When I first joined Mr Daniel Yeo’s lessons, I was struggling to pass physics. But Mr Yeo is very helpful and caring, and he ensures everyone could follow the lesson. His notes are very helpful too as it is concise and it shows which concepts are important. Because of his lessons, I managed to build confidence in the subject and my physics grades improved tremendously to an A, which might not be achievable without Mr Yeo’s help. Thank you Mr Yeo!

Mr Daniel Yeo is a very inspiring and passionate Physics tutor who never fails to help his students. During my time as a JC student, if I faced any difficulties while studying, he would be able to clarify my doubts and questions regarding the subject. Although A Level Physics was both a challenge and a struggle to master, Mr Yeo helped deepen my liking for the subject through his various teaching methods and classroom engagement. I’m so grateful to have experienced a huge improvement in my Physics grades, and attribute a large part of it to his teaching. Thank you Mr Yeo for your guidance and your patience!

Mr Daniel Yeo’s lessons are always enjoyable as he explains concepts in ways that are more interesting and easy to understand. Mr Yeo never fails to check up on us to make sure we are not falling behind, and that we are “in phase”. He is very supportive and gives us ample breaks and sweets when he notices that we are feeling overloaded or tired.
Thank you Mr Yeo for your support and guidance!

Mr Daniel Yeo is a very helpful and supportive teacher who is extremely dedicated to teaching. During the one and a half years when I was under him, my understanding of physics concepts and topics improved greatly. In the past, I would simply memorise formulas and apply them without truly understanding the reasoning behind the methods, which made physics difficult to study. However, with the detailed and clear explanations Mr Yeo gave, I was able to better understand the concepts learnt, which made the content more digestible and easy to apply. Mr Yeo also encouraged us to send him any questions that we had and would patiently explain the concepts to us after class or through texts. Even during circuit breaker, Mr Yeo took time out to conduct one-to-one zoom calls with me to answer any questions that I had. The notes that Mr Yeo gives are also very clear and concise, which made my revision easier and more effective. Mr Yeo’s passion for physics shines through in his enthusiasm when he teaches and his classes are interesting and easy to follow. I thoroughly enjoyed learning physics under Mr Yeo and highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a good, committed physics tutor!

Mr Daniel Yeo is a very sincere and supportive teacher. I joined his class halfway in JC1, and I still remember how he warmly welcomed me with a smile on my first lesson. During lessons, he would highlight important key points for us to focus on. He gave us tips for examinations and also believed in us all the way. He also made it a point to crack jokes in class to liven up the atmosphere.
Moreover, Mr Yeo is very approachable and truly cares for his students. Last year during circuit breaker when we could not go to the centre for physical class, he immediately offered to guide me on a question through a zoom call when I told him I was struggling with it. He often checks up on us and tries to get to know us better as a person. Mr Yeo never judges his students no matter what kind of questions they ask, and this really put a lot of us at ease. Mr Yeo is really a teacher who teaches with his heart and believes in all his students.

When I first started physics tuition, I vividly recalled that it was very daunting for me for everyone just seemed so prepared and capable. However, Mr Yeo was really caring, especially to the new students, always ensuring that we are in phase with the lesson, constantly checking in with everyone. That itself was already a start in pushing myself to improve. It was really very easy to follow and understand his lessons, especially so for the harder topics, and i find myself struggling less and less in school overtime as new topics were being taught. The questions given for practice had a really wide range and i absolutely loved it as I could learn so much more and add them to my lecture notes. During lessons, I could slowly feel my improvement and it always pushes me to do better and be the best I can. Those small time practices here and there also pushes me to study harder and not fall behind. Gradually, physics even became my strongest subject in school ! Mr yeo is also always so approachable, offering additional support via text messages and zoom calls. Additionally, he always sends little encouragement here and there for our exams, which is really heart warming.
Genuinely, because of Mr Yeo’s lesson, my perception towards physics changed and it became my favourite subject. Truthfully, if i were to become a teacher one day i would really want and love to teach jc physics, i am really inspired by Mr Daniel Yeo’s teaching!
