Mr Gilbert Lee’s lessons are ever so interesting and informative, making it such an enjoyment to learn Economics from him. I will go for his lessons feeling excited, and come out accomplished. Concepts taught are seamlessly applied to real world context, and Economics as a subject appear so much less daunting and manageable. Thanks to the correct learning method and exam techniques taught by Mr Lee, my Economics improved from a S in JC1 to A in Alevels. Thank you Learner’s Lodge and Mr Lee!

mr koh chee wee is a very kind and helpful teacher who is willing to go the extra mile for his students. before coming to learners lounge, i was struggling with econs in sch and flunked my end of year exams. i had very little knowledge of the subject. mr koh was very patient with me and constantly clarified my doubts both inside and outside class time. with mr kohs help i was able to push my econs grade from a low U to an A. thank you mr koh!

thank you for being a really patient and kind teacher. we always forget the stuff you taught us the previous lesson, can’t answer your questions promptly and sometimes don’t offer you a response at all. as frustrated as you were, you went through the concepts again and never lost your composure. thank you for making me see my potential, and making me believe that A was something i could achieve when my grades proved otherwise.
i’m just glad to be able to tell you that i’ve attained a grade that made all your hard work and efforts worth it.

Mr Gilbert Lee is a really passionate teacher and to me he is more like a form teacher than a tuition teacher. He cared for his students’ well-being and characters, not just the results. Despite his busy schedule, he is still willing to make time for 1-1 consultation whenever we needs it and more than often he make sure that we are learning and not simply memorising the contents, which makes learning economics a lot more enjoyable. Throughout my revision period, Mr Raymond Cai has been an amazing pillar of support in my understanding and grasping of physics. I appreciate how he would take the time to reply to each of my queries (which were a lot) and made sure that I fully understood the concepts and the reasonings behind the answers. He would bring props to class and it really makes class more entertaining and it enables us to visualise certain concepts too! Thank you Mr Cai for strengthening my interest and stamina in physics and for the support in my 2 year journey, couldn’t have done it without you !

Econs was one of my worst subject especially from j1 since we didn’t have any background knowledge from secondary school. I only went through the motion in school and usually sleep in lectures not knowing or understanding anything. However, ever since being recommend to join learners lodge Econs and to be taught by Mr Koh Chee Wee, I started to understand more about econs. With the guidance of Mr Koh, I started to be more interested in Econs and more responsible in my learning. Mr Koh even went to the extent of allowing us to come early for lessons or stay back after lessons to seek consultations for any doubts we have, and during A levels he would also meet us outside for consults FOC. Although I still sleep in his lessons at times, he still ensures I learn something which I am grateful for eventually allowing my to secure an A for Econs. His lessons are truly not dull but catered specially to students individually, thus allowing us to maximise our learning. His lame jokes during lessons also helps to keep me awake when feeling sleepy
