Mr Daniel Yeo is the most patient and dedicated teacher I have had the joy of being taught by! I joined his lessons in y2 of JC with a U grade, and I achieved A for both prelims and As! He would provide any material I requested, and answer any question that I had! Without him, I truly don’t know where I would be for physics. No cap, best physics teacher out there. If you’re struggling with physics, look no further than this amazing teacher and thank me later :)

In my studies of physics, Mr Daniel Yeo was extremely inspirational. His passion for the subject was something that could be felt in his teachings and his notes, it honestly was very refreshing being in his class which led me to fall in love with the subject pursuing it at a higher level (H3) in my second year.
In a more practical sense, Mr yeo seemed to have the A level syllabus and history of A level physics memorised. He shared meticulously what to look out for, common mistakes and practices to score well for the A levels. Mr Yeo’s way of teaching by explaining thought processes and techniques filled up many gaps in my exam-taking skill set. Mr Yeo broke down concepts through definitions with aid of visual illustrations and guiding questions. In our revision, Mr Yeo was always approachable and I am so thankful for him taking time outside lessons to answer my queries. His summaries were also an absolute time saver where concepts can be easily refreshed by going through them.

Physics has always been my Achilles heel. With less than stellar grades at the O levels and my mid-terms in J1, my confidence began to sink and thoughts of dropping it crossed my mind over and over again. When a friend recommended Learner’s Lodge, my entire perspective changed. Mr Daniel Yeo taught the subject in a way that no other teacher could ever come close to. He made physics fun. Simplifying complex concepts, comprehensive and constantly updated notes, humouring the class as well as going the extra mile to host online consultations all made him an astonishing tutor. The results were clear as day, I went from scoring S to B within a few months of his lessons. With his help, I did the impossible and secured my A for the A levels. I attribute my success to him. Another aspect of Learner’s Lodge that is truly remarkable is the staff there, an extremely jovial, encouraging and responsible bunch. Whenever I have any queries or require assistance e.g. printing notes, reminders they are prompt with their help and made the entire learning process smooth as butter.
