Mr Mike Wang is an extremely amicable and resourceful teacher capable of providing detailed yet easy to remember explanations with regards to chemistry concepts while highlighting the key methods to remember. He is also willing to go out of his way to offer consultation slots and even answer questions via message despite his busy schedule. Thank you, Mr Wang, for constantly supporting me all the way throughout my JC journey and despite my incessant questioning, never losing patience, and also for bolstering my Chemistry grade to an A!

Mr Phay is a great teacher, for he was always so confident in me, which is something that I can’t believe. For that, I am very grateful. My econs results were never good. It was after joining that when I was writing essays in a test that I have a better idea of what to write. Mr Phay’s method of teaching by focusing on the most important points made recalling of ideas much easier. Classes are also very fun too, with jokes every so often. Every lesson has the part to answer questions, and in Mr Phay class, answers have to be recalled very fast for that is needed in the exam. Mr Phay’s is really good.

Dear Mr Phay,
Thank you for all those enriching and fun lessons, for the encouragement during tough times, and also, for being there for us to extend a helping hand. The extra help given to review our notes and essays done has helped made our studying easier. Thanks for conducting more lessons on our weaker topics to clarify the doubts we had. I wish you all the best for your future and hope you can continue to inspire other students!

Thank you, Mr Phay for making Econs much easier for me to learn and study! Your notes are really concise and I rely on them a lot during my A-levels. Also, thank you for making the effort to make your lessons lively and enjoyable for me.

H2 Economics has always been my Achilles heel and has never scored anything above an E grade for my exams and tests. Only after joining Learners’ Lodge and under the care of Mr Phay did my realise Economics was simpler than what it is and I had to change my learning style. Mr Phay gave me the confidence and skills I needed and eventually scoring a distinction for A Levels examination. Thank you, Mr Phay for your dedication to your students!

Mr Sng is one of the most patient tutors I have met. His passion for maths is contagious and makes lessons enjoyable and fun for his students. Moreover, Mr Sng has the ability to break down seemingly complicated math concepts into fundamental ideas, which really helped me Ace my A levels. Thank you, Mr Sng!

Mr Au’s lessons aren’t Mr Au’s lessons unless they are interjected with quirky conversation topics only sometimes related to chemistry – from enthusiastic outbursts about ping pong, to watching videos about the production of expensive charcoal.
So thank you for making it harder to fall asleep while listening to facts about chemistry.

Dear Mr Au, thank you so much for your guidance. Your structured teaching really helped me answer questions better and not miss out on the key points. Thank you for being so willing and ready to answer any and all questions we have, whether it be after class or on WhatsApp. I really appreciate how you encourage our interest in chemistry and also share with us valuable life lessons. Your lessons are never boring and I always feel engaged with them. :) My chemistry definitely would not have improved so much without all your efforts. Thank you so much, Mr Au!

As a last-ditch effort to save my h2 chemistry I decided to go for tuition upon my friend’s recommendation and it was probably one of the best decisions I made. Mr David Wong made me more interested in chemistry and motivated me to do well and not fear the subject. I wouldn’t have gotten my A if it weren’t for him and I’m really grateful to have been his student. Thank you, Mr Wong! :D
