Nicolle Ng, River Valley High School
Ms Ruby Ng is actually one of my favourite teachers in all my years of schooling.
She is extremely systematic in the way she covers different topics – every question is set with a purpose. I really appreciate the thought she puts in every lesson and worksheet. Even though she always laments we take her notes for granted and “never read ah”, but they really were very useful and insightful – supplementing our own notes and practices very well.
All in all, Ms Ng is a dedicated and thoughtful teacher that I will want to keep in touch with. Even though I was relatively consistent in Mathematics, Ms Ng made math enjoyable for me.

My first lesson with Mr Raymond Cai already showed me the dedication he had towards teaching an interactive and interesting lesson that served its main purpose of passing on a deeper understanding of physics and how all the concepts tie in together. Every lesson with Mr Cai taught me something new and his notes have aided me in all my exams. I would recommend Mr Cai to anyone who takes physics, even if they are already doing well.

Dear Mr Gilbert Lee,
Thank you for being an amazing teacher, for guiding me through H2 econs with the history of econs and making me fall in love with this subject. My passion for economics has grown through your teaching and I’m so thankful for your help and guidance. Thank you :)

Thank you, Mr Koh, for all your effort and concern during my A-Level preparations. Your concise and structured method of teaching made econs easier to understand. Even though my final result was not that great, it was an improvement from my previous result, and I also gained a greater appreciation of the subject and may even consider to pursue it uni.
Geryl Tan, SAJC
Thank you, Mr Gilbert Lee, for making such a big difference in my JC Journey. You not only taught me Economics, but you have also taught me how to love Economics. The life lessons you taught have gone way beyond what a tuition teacher would teach and I’m glad to say I’ve found Learners Lodge. Even though I got a B, I wouldn’t have chosen another tuition centre even if it guaranteed an A.
Joshua Ng, Victoria Junior College
Mr Sng is an excellent teacher who has a firm grasp of the topics and syllabus. His engaging teaching style makes me look forward to his lessons. He is also very friendly and approachable, so I feel comfortable asking him for help. He even offered to answer questions on WhatsApp. I’m very grateful because he always revising with me my weakest topics like Graphing Techniques, turning my D into an A at A Levels! Thank You, Mr Sng!

Thank you, Mr Au, for helping me with my Chem! Although I joined your class late in June, you still managed to inspire me and make me love doing Chem again through your fun teaching and life stories! I could never have brought my Chem back to A grade without your help. Thank you so much; I learnt so much more than just Chem from you and I’m sure other students will be able to do the same by joining your class.
Tan Wei Howe, VJC
Mr Sng is one of the most patient tutors I have met. His passion for maths is contagious and makes lessons enjoyable and fun for his students. Moreover, Mr Sng has the ability to break down seemingly complicated math concepts into fundamental ideas, which really helped me Ace my A levels. Thank you, Mr Sng!

Thank you, Mr Aw, for teaching me GP! I always struggled with GP in JC1 and decided to get help from you in JC2. Although my improvements were small, I learnt so much more than just general knowledge and events happening around the world from you and your enjoyable lessons. You taught me to never give up and have the right attitude in life and also to persevere and just do my best, which is why I’m really grateful for your help in ensuring my GP grade for the A-levels was the best I have ever achieved. Thank you so much!
Kathy Jeon, Victoria Junior College
I’d like to thank Mr Au for helping me achieve an A grade for H2 Chem for A Level exams. Chemistry was always my worst subject, and I always scored U or S for chem in J1. By J2, I realised that the key to chem was the understanding of fundamental concepts beneath all the application questions, which I lacked. However, under Mr Au’s thorough and clarified teaching of concepts, I had my basics solidified in time for exams. I was able to do harder application questions because I knew the basics of how they worked without ambiguity. Yet, the best part was how he encouraged us to ask questions in class, which I found hard to do in school. This really helped clear some of the more challenging questions from VJC papers. I really owe Mr Au a lot for preparing me for this exam, thank you!
